  •  DO I NEED THERAPY?

Most people can benefit from therapy in one way or another, and there is something that brought you here. There must be something that is causing you to feel stressed or stuck, or something you don't comfortable talking about with friends or family. Therapy allows you to experience time with a professional, who can see patterns in your thoughts and behaviors that you may not even be aware of. 

  • HOW DOES IT WORK?

I meet with most people once a week, for 45 minutes. There is no minimum or maximum amount of time that you're required to come for sessions. I don't believe in a one-size-fits-all approach to therapy, rather I like to tailor the techniques I use to each person and what they need.​​

  • WHERE AND HOW CAN I SEE YOU?

Our office in Midtown Manhattan (39 W 32nd St., the BDFMNQR train lines are on our corner, near Herald Square, and Penn Station).

We also offer online teletherapy. 

  • DO YOU TAKE INSURANCE?

Lillian: We don't accept insurance, however, if you give us your insurance information, we can verify your out-of-network benefits, and often, if you have met your deductible, a portion of your session will be covered. We process the claims for you!

Ruthy: We work on a "sliding scale." Our full session fee is $150/session but we can work with you to reduce fees if you find that this is not an affordable option.

  • WHAT'S THE FIRST STEP?

The first thing I recommend doing is filling out the contact form on our site and we'll get back to you as soon as possible to schedule an appointment. We can set up a time for a phone consultation, or we can schedule an appointment via email.
