FAQs

  •  DO I NEED THERAPY?

Most people can benefit from therapy in one way or another, and there is something that brought you here. There must be something that is causing you to feel stressed, anxious, or stuck, or something you don't comfortable talking about with friends or family. Therapy allows you to experience time with a professional, who can see patterns in your thoughts and behaviors that you may not even be aware of.

  • HOW DOES IT WORK?

We meet with most people once a week, for 45 minutes. There is no minimum or maximum amount of time that you're required to come for sessions. We don't believe in a one-size-fits-all approach to therapy, rather we like to tailor the techniques we use to each person and what they need.

  • WHERE AND HOW CAN I SEE YOU?

We made the switch to teletherapy in March 2020.  We love that teletherapy provides convenience and removes the travel time and expense. We offer secure, easy to use, video sessions.

  • WHAT WILL IT COST?

Our rates range from $150-$250 depending on the provider. We recognize that finances can be a great barrier to receiving care, therefore our clinicians offer sliding scale fees for those with financial need. We also provide superbills that can be submitted to insurance companies for out-of-network reimbursements.

  • HOW CAN I USE MY INSURANCE (OUT-OF-NETWORK BENEFITS)?

Ask us for a superbill and you can submit that to your insurance company. Depending on your plan, once you've met your deductible, you may get reimbursed for a large portion of what you've paid. Websites like https://www.thesuperbill.com/ make the process a lot easier and they can give you estimates on how much money you'll get back.

  • WHAT'S THE FIRST STEP?

It's hard to find a good therapist! The first thing I recommend doing is filling out the contact form on our site and we'll get back to you as soon as possible to schedule an appointment. We can set up a time for a phone consultation, or we can schedule an appointment via email.
